Saturday Boys' Game! First Win! GO DRAGONS!

First win!
The boy’s team got a very important win today vs. Gulf Coast United 96 in a great game that ended 3-2. They currently are in second place in their group. Once again the Dragon's dominated in the midfield and started off by scoring on their first chances. Julio Quijano made the 1-0 after chipping the keeper; the play was started off by a great pass by Sammy Zaidman that left him one on one.
Julio Quijano then proceeded to make it 2-0 only 15 minutes in, when Yubin Son gave him a perfect pass that left him one on one again. With only 1 minute until halftime, GCU managed to make it 2-1 after a great shot to the upper corner. Up until then, Luke, Alex, Thomas, and James had prevented any scoring changes.

Halftime score: 2-1.

The second half kicked off with the Dragon’s keeping the ball and looking to finish off the game in the first minutes. The 3-1 was scored by Xavier Velazquez on a penalty kick, shot low and hard to the right. The 3-2 was off a corner near the end of the end of the game.

Final score: 3-2 win for BAD.
